Directions to Lower Savannah Council of Governments
From Columbia: Traveling from Columbia on I-20 West, take the Aiken Exit #22 (US 1), turn left on US 1; go approximately 7 miles and turn left at the 3rd traffic light onto SC 118. Continue on SC 118 bypass, turning left at 3rd traffic light onto SC 302 (Wagener Rd). AGY Glassfiber and Owens Corning will be on the right, then a wooded area, then Lower Savannah COG will be on the right. If you pass the Couchton Water District and Aiken Electric Co-op you have gone too far.
From Augusta: (Interstate 20) Traveling from Augusta on I-20 East, take the Aiken Exit #22 (US 1), turn right on US 1; go approximately 7 miles and turn left at the 3rd traffic light onto SC 118. From Augusta: (Aiken/Augusta Highway - US 1) Traveling from Augusta on Aiken/Augusta Hwy (US 1), continue through Aiken. On the other side of downtown Aiken, Richland Ave turns back into US 1/SC 302. Continue on SC 302 past the Fiberglass Plant. Our office is located on the right (same side as Fiberglass plant) past the wooded lot. If you pass the Couchton Water District and Aiken Electric Co-op you have gone too far.
From Orangeburg/Calhoun: (SC 302/ SC 4) Traveling from Orangeburg on SC 302/SC 4, you will find our office on the left just past Aiken Electric Co-op and Couchton Water District.
From Denmark/Williston: (US 78) Traveling from Denmark/Williston on US 78, you will pass Annie's Inn (on right) and Montmorenci Vineyards (also on right). US 78 intersects with SC 302 just past the Fiberglass Plant. Turn right at the light, then right again onto SC 302. Continue on SC 302 past the Fiberglass Plant. Our office is located on the right (same side as Fiberglass plant) past the wooded lot. If you pass the Couchton Water District and Aiken Electric Co-op you have gone too far.
