EDUCATION / TRAINING

JOB CORPS

Job Corps is a comprehensive education and training program for disadvantaged youths ages 16-24. The Job Corps program offers students the opportunity to enroll in basic education and GED classes while they receive vocational training in many areas. Job Corps training is self-paced. Job Corps also gives women the skills to be self-sufficient and to be able to make it on their own.

SCHOOL-TO-WORK

School-to-work is not an employment program. It is a program to assist young people (under the age of 25) in moving from a school setting into the world of work.
